Coaching Department Students Become National Soft Tennis Referees

In addition to being a coach in sports, students in the coaching department can also participate in matches in accordance with the professions regulated in the 2022 Sports Law. Referees are important stakeholder components in sports. In addition, the philosophy of "no referee no game" is the key to the implementation of sports matches.

Robi, who was born in Koto Langang 25 years ago, is a student of the coaching department and is currently a student of PPG PJOK, and was officially declared to have graduated as a national referee for soft tennis which was held in Jakarta on July 8-10, 2024. After graduating from training, Robi immediately received his first assignment at the national championship which was held on July 11-13, 2024. On that occasion, Robi also achieved an achievement by leading the West Java vs Central Java Final match for the men's team. This result proves that Robi is worthy of being a superior resource for the sport of soft tennis.

The Faculty of Sports Science always provides a place for students to excel and contribute to the sports they are interested in. In addition to being an athlete, coach and referee, there are many other professions that students can have in exploring their potential at Padang State University such as Masseur, Physiotherapy, Event Organizer, Match Analysis, Match Control, Physical Trainer, Personal Trainer and many more.
