Student Executive Board FIK

A. Definition

The Student Executive Board (BEM FIK) is the executive body of faculty-level student activities charged by BPM FIK in coaching, scientific reasoning, interests, passions, community service and faculty student welfare.

B. Management Structure of BEM FIK

The membership structure of the BEM FIK organization consists of the general chairman, general secretary, general treasurer, and department administrators who are divided into chairmen, secretaries and members. The management structure is depicted in the following scheme.

C. Duties and Functions of BEM FIK Management

The daily management of BEM FIK is in charge and functions in the following matters:

  1. Implementing the provisions of MPM, BEM UNP and BPM FIK
  2. Planning the development of extra-curricular activities that are adjusted to the GBHPK and become an activity plan whose implementation program is scheduled and known by the BEM FIK supervisor.
  3. Delivering proposals, opinions and suggestions with the approval of the supervisor of BEM FIK to the dean directly and through BPM FIK to the dean directly or through BEM FIK related to the development and implementation of GBHPK for the achievement of faculty goals.
  4. Carry out student activities from planning activities that have been approved by BPM FIK, supervisors BPM FIK and BEM FIK as well as the dean's permission.
  5. Attend invitations to meetings or hearings conducted by BPM FIK.
  6. Attend meetings or sessions conducted by the faculty.
  7. Hold coordination meetings with FIK UKM and HMJ at least twice a year.
  8. Accountable for the results of activities to BPM FIK and forwarded to the dean.
  9. Administratively and financially responsible to the dean.

Committee and Election Procedure of BEM FIK Management

The membership of the BEM FIK management election committee consists of several BPM FIK administrators appointed by the chairman of BPM FIK plus one HMJ representative from each department.

Requirements to become chairman and board of BEM FIK

  1. Pious to God Almighty.
  2. Have high personal integrity.
  3. Be of good character and have a sense of leadership.
  4. Have an understanding of the organization.
  5. Actively enrolled in education at UNP, at least sitting in semester III and maximum in semester VI with an average achievement index of 2.72.
  6. Have a certificate of having participated in Campus Introduction for New Students (PKMB), Krida and Basic Leadership Training.
  7. Candidates for chairman of BEM FIK are required to make a written platform about the vision and mission of the planned activities.
  8. Election Procedure for the Chairperson of BEM FIK.

The chairman of BEM FIK is elected through general elections. The election mechanism is that the candidate for chairman of BEM FIK campaigns the vision and mission written in the platform in front of all faculty students, then a general election is held by all FIK students. The results of the election of candidates for chairman of BEM FIK are determined by considering the most votes. The elected chairman of BEM was inaugurated by BPM FIK through a decree of BPM FIK.

Election of BEM FIK Management

The formation of BEM FIK management is determined by the elected chairman of BEM FIK. Every student has the opportunity to become the management of BEMFIK, provided that they meet the predetermined requirements. BEMFIK management must be formed no later than 15 days after the elected Chairperson of BEM FIK.

D. Working Relationship between BEM FIK and Other Organizations

BEM FIK is fully responsible for all its activities to BPM FIK and the dean. BEM FIK establishes a cooperative relationship with other ormawa in the UNP environment in the following matters:

  1. Consultation with BEM FIK.
  2. Implement coordination and communication with UKMF and HMJ.
  3. Coordinate with BEM UNP.
  4. Communicate and accommodate the aspirations of FIK students.
