Achievements Again Created in Soft Tennis Sports

Fikratuz Zakiah has again made an achievement in the sport of soft tennis after successfully winning a bronze medal (ranked 3) in the Mixed Doubles event at the national soft tennis championship held at the Borobudur Hotel, Jakarta, 11-13 July 2024.

Fikratuz Zakiah is a student of the coaching department of the faculty of sports science who represented West Sumatra in the match which was attended by 115 participants from various provinces throughout Indonesia.

Dean of the Faculty of Sports Science Prof. Dr. Nurul Ihsan, M. Pd accompanied by Deputy Dean I for Academic and Student Affairs Dr. Padli, S. Si., M. Pd said that one of the students who has achieved many achievements is Fikratuz Zakiah, the Dean hopes that we must continue to practice to be able to achieve many achievements in the next championship, especially the closest one that will be faced at the upcoming PON 2024 Aceh-Medan. The Dean also conveyed a message that we must remain individuals with good and humble characters.

Soft tennis athletes themselves practice on the field facilitated by Padang State University located in the area of ​​the Faculty of Sports Science with facilities of 6 fields (4 indoor fields and 2 outdoor fields).
