Universitas Negeri Padang Delegation Attends International Conference in Japan, Strengthening Global Academic Collaboration
One day before departure, the team from Universitas Negeri Padang met with Prof. Ganefri, Ph.D., the Rector of UNP, to seek permission for their trip to Japan the following day. They departed on Saturday, May 11, 2024, and arrived in Japan on May 13, 2024, after transiting through the Philippines. During their stay in Japan, the team lodged at Hotel Washington Aizu.
The international conference they attended began with an opening address from the organizing committee chaired by Prof. Dr. Debopriyo Roy. He mentioned that the conference was attended by 100 authors from around the world, with activities conducted both face-to-face and online.
The next session featured a presentation from the keynote speaker, Prof. Dr. Didi Suryadi from Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, who delivered a paper titled "The Role of Technology in Didactical Design Research (DDR)". This session also included a Q&A session involving all seminar participants.
Next, Fahmil Haris, S.Pd., M.Pd., representing the Department of Health and Recreation at the Faculty of Sports Science, Universitas Negeri Padang, presented his research as one of the presenters in this international conference.
After all the presenters finished presenting their slides, the event continued with an introduction session with Prof. Dr. Debopriyo Roy, who is the Chair of the ETLTC-ICETM International Conference and a Professor at the Center for Language Research, Department of Computer Science, University of Aizu, Japan.
The conference concluded with a group photo session, creating unforgettable memories for all participants. This event not only expanded academic insights but also strengthened international relations among scholars from various countries.
