UNP Kempo Team Makes Achievement in Student Martial Arts Invitation in Jakarta
Jakarta, May 23, 2025 - Padang State University (UNP) students again showed brilliant achievements at the national level. In Kempo Student Martial Arts Invitational Event organized on May 19 to 22, 2025 in Jakarta, the UNP Kempo team successfully brought home six medals, consisting of two gold, three silver and one bronze. Gold medals were won by Moulidia Ibtisham Alhamdra from the State Administration Study Program and Ollivia Maharani from the Civil Engineering Study Program. Both performed impressively with solid techniques and high competitive spirit. Not only gold, Ollivia Maharani also offered silver medal, making him the athlete with the most medals from UNP in this branch. Meanwhile, Abdul Hadi from the Physical Education, Health and Recreation Study Program also contributed one silver medal, showing UNP's dominance in various competition categories.

The last contribution came from Winda Gusti Laila, students of the Sports Coaching Education Study Program, who achieved bronze medal, completing the UNP contingent's outstanding achievement in this championship. The Dean of the UNP Faculty of Sport Sciences expressed his pride in the achievements of the athletes. "This success is the result of hard training, high dedication, and full support from the university. We hope this will motivate other students to continue to excel," he said.

The Student Martial Arts Invitation event is an important forum in developing the potential of students in the field of sports as well as strengthening relationships between universities in Indonesia.
