The Faculty of Sports Science, Padang State University (FIK UNP) successfully held the Inauguration of the Student Representative Body (BPM) for the 2025 period on February 26, 2025 at the FIK UNP Conference Room. Carrying the theme "Leader of Change",

The event was attended by Vice Dean I of FIK UNP, Dr. Padli, S.Si, M.Pd, who officially opened the activity. In his speech, he emphasized that BPM has a strategic role in maintaining communication between students and the faculty. "As a representation of students, BPM must be able to carry out its duties with professionalism, integrity, and a spirit of change in order to have a positive impact on the academic environment.

In addition, Jeki Haryanto, S.Si, M.Pd, FIK UNP Lecturer who is also a BPM coach, also emphasized the importance of dedication and responsibility in carrying out organizational duties.

"Leadership is not just about holding a position, but also about making a real contribution. BPM is expected to be at the forefront in fighting for the interests of students as well as being an innovative and progressive agent of change," he concluded.

The event was also attended by lecturers, delegates of student organizations (Ormawa) in FIK UNP, as well as students who provide support for BPM in carrying out its duties.

With this new management, BPM FIK UNP is expected to continue to grow, create innovations, and become a forum for students to grow together towards success.
